Christmas, 1997, I just knew that one day, I’d be published in a Chicken Soup for the Soul book.

My mom gave me a copy for Christmas, and it was my second time devouring one of the books.

The years slipped by. The goal, unrealized and forgetten. Until now.

Last year, my friend Teresa Kruze forwarded me a notice letting me know they were accepting submissions. She’d been published before, and so knew it was a rewarding experience.

At the time, I’d just pushed send on my article to SUCCESS Magazine, fulfilling a two-decade old dream. I figured, why stop there!

Well – 28 years later – and it’s official!

The book will be released January 6th, 2026. While it won’t ship in time to wrap it under the Christmas Tree like my mom did for me, order early so you and your loved ones will set yourself up for the best year yet in 2026!
